Can IconWorkshop do this? Strange Application Need

Postby sticks » Sun Aug 06, 2006 2:03 am

We are developing graphics for an application that will run on cellular telephones. The rendering engine within the mobile operating system (BREW) has very strange graphics requirements:

1. graphics must be in .bmp formatn 2. transparency must be represented with the color Magenta (255,0,255).

So here is the problem:

Some graphics, such as our logo, use antialiasing, drop shadows below text, etc... The background color/pattern upon which our logo will change widely.

We need the ability to keep those effects, without producing a "dirty magenta" effect. When the system renders the image, only straight magenta will be recognized as transparent.

Can Icon Workshop help with this?

Thanks.
